It might, I have had it on multiple rifles/muzzle devices and this is the 1st time it has had an issue. Maybe the barrel got hot enough to break down the loctite this time?

I feel your pain I have a Rugged Surge stuck on my 7.62 mount. I used blue locktite as well...

Your dad's was a 73, they only imported them in 73 and 74. The 74 has an old style vw heat ex-changer heating system and the vents on the back. The 73 used a gas heater system. It's slow, loud and has some bumps and bruises but we like it.

I have a standard Norinco SKS, bought it in the early 90's for 89.00 but I want a paratrooper and I would love to have a SKS-M as well.

I was thinking about picking some of it up to try suppressed in my 7.62 AR.
