anyone have a M1 carbine trigger housing pin laying around, apparently I managed to loose it, or maybe it just wasn't there. looks like my new M1 carbine has been on display for year without any use as its squeaky clean and bone dry.

The bayonet lug came with the type 3 barrel band, most where converted to that spec for Korea but during WW2 they did not have it. I still kick myself occasionally for not grabbing a paratrooper a few years ago when I had the opportunity to get one for 1,600.

New toy arrived today, next step is to break it down and then get some ammo for it. This will likely be the ugliest gun in my collection until I get my hands on a Dardick. Its so ugly it almost goes full circle and becomes pretty again.
