Well that explains it, lol. I'm pretty sure it's a Yugo BHO. It has a BHO follower anyways. When I got it someone told me it was a Romy but then I saw the BHO follower and just assumed it was a Yugo?

The finish on the WASR definitely isn't as good as that Yugo BHO mag was(although the mag had some surface rust and minor pitting). It should be easier to do than the mag for sure.

That's almost exactly what I did. I think once that 00 steel wool gets here it'll make it much easier though. The 0000 wool did a good job once I knocked off the tough part of the finish with the sandpaper.

Looks like I need some more practice before I BFPU my gun. :( I ordered some 00 steel wool. That 0000 steel wool didn't do much of anything. Ended up using 200 and 800 grit sandpaper and finishing it up with the 0000 steel wool. Gonna flat clear it today so that it doesn't rust. Doesn't...
