So someone tell me how to assemble this into a sling. I can't find anything online. I just need a 1" sling? Feed it through the hook like it was a sling swivel, and back through the adjuster like on an AR? What's the rivet part for? And how do you attach the sling to the other end?

For sure. The original ones were the ones I forgot about, I think they may have been home or gunsmith builds? I don't think any company was manufacturing them for sale but I may be wrong about that. But yes, the PSA ones are GTG...

I forgot about the original dissipators that had all the issues, I think I knew I'd never have one so I wiped them from my mind...I stand corrected gents.

It's either a dissy or it ain't. No such thing as a mock dissy.

Dissy is 16" with the FSP at the rifle position, but the actual gas system will be a mid or carbine.

Mock dissipator is redundant...
