I'll have to do some reading...but a few years ago when I was deep into 1911s the big stink was that DW was incorporating more MIM parts in their guns. I'm not anti MIM, but for the price point of DWs they shouldn't have it. Just a little more over a DW gets you a Baer- Shemp
