I finally got there - but I haven’t thinned the herd all the way down. I start to sell something and then think “Yeah, but I really like that one, and I’ll never see another if I sell it...” Which is why I’ve got duplicates in my collection from when people weren’t stacking em deep.

It really depends. If you’re looking for serious accuracy and buy a high-dollar barrel, then putting non-bimetallic slugs through it makes sense. But for just shooting, generally speaking the cost of a new barrel every 6k or so is about how much you save buying the bi-metal bullets vs a guy...

Yeah, I’m pretty careful about what I put through my AR rifles, but I realize that the Russian (or Chinese) weapons were designed for that crap, so I never worried about putting it through my SKS’s or Mosin. Same would be true for the M70AB2.
