    Yeah, but with the price of free-float accessories being as low as they are, I don’t see the point in having a ‘basic’ ar at all.

    Fuck all of that shit. Just get a 15" carbon fiber free-float on a mid-length low-profile gas system, then drop a MagpulPro front sight out at the end of the HG and a Matech rear at the other end. Dun.
