Didn’t know people were still using CLP as a lube. While it was intended to be a cleaner, lube, and protectant, it doesn’t do any of those things well. It being asked to do too much. I do use it as a cleaner when that is all that’s in reach, but I wipe it off and apply a better lubricant...
