I was looking at a Mavic 2 at Best Buy last night - 999, 1399, 1549.....options, price differences....hate to buy not knowing - lot of cash for a toy.

Hiked a mile up to the river where I often fish. Figured I better get the wife up there now, cuz it’ll be a burning humid jungle pretty soon. Packed in some mini chairs, ribeyes and lemonade. It was beautiful!

I am skeered of heights. At least I used to be. Working in a batch tower will get you over that, but I still like to have something secure under me.

Standing on a pallet lifted 20+ feet high used to be a regular occurrence at my old job. I swear working in that place in the 80s-90s was probably not much different than working there in the 20s. And honestly, I'm ok with that.

Went to eat with the folks yesterday, the place was getting some roof work done. This is an extension ladder bolted to 2x4s- the wooden rungs are pallet wood, secured by one nail on each side.
