That's what I was about to tell you to look into. I used to swear by the G2. Then I got my AK74 with an AKT in it. Now I'll never have anything else. ALG knocked it out of the park with that trigger. Especially for the price.

Damn bro. Glad you're OK. I've only had one experience like that. 10/22 with a 17 mach II conversion. Blew the extractor off my rifle and burned my hand. Got rid of the conversion after that and put my rifle back factory. Well, I did upgrade to a titanium Volquartsen extractor. Lol
