    Got annoyed with myself. Had to go look. 637 Enhanced is what they called my hammer model. PC trigger but no moon clips. The old hammerless is a 342 PD.

    Truth. My j frame with a hammer (637?) Has a performance center trigger & my hammerless (scandium version of 442? Getting old sucks for remembering model number) hasn't had an actual trigger job but I got it about the time @Gaige was born, so it's real smoothed out.

    I've also got a bunch of Georgia Arms .38 +P 135 gr with gold dot bullets in them. Used to buy stuff in bulk from them all the time.

    It is thinner & a little lighter. I just put up with it because I shoot it a lot better & .38 special +P defensive ammo is something I already know.

    Personally I much prefer a hammerless J-frame for pocket carry. Having shot both, I find the J-frame much easier to shoot.

    Went to school in Colorado in the very early 80s. Loved it, Haven't been back since like 1988 or 89. Just watching what has happened from afar has been sad.
