They are geared down. I have a 45turn motor in my wraith. I forget the pinion and spur,80 and 18-20 I think. The green wraith you can kinda see in the pic has a brushless system. It will fly,and still have good crawlability. Prob not as fast as a slash or the like,but seems super fast compared...

I have an axial wraith now. I've had a few built axial scx-10 too. The wraith and our "course". The scx-10 Yota.
