Confederate Flags ordered taken down at Kennesaw Mountain Battlefield

I do understand your point, obviously context is important; but you do also realize that, for some, this particular flag stands for much more than a simple battle flag, ergo, you are now addressing other issues and will have much greater opposition. I really don't want to get into a debate...

Confederate Flags ordered taken down at Kennesaw Mountain Battlefield

Meh, the same could be said if we'd have lost any number of other battles along the way .... again, not saying I don't appreciate American heritage, but I just don't personally feel the need to fly specific flags in memory of certain battles

Confederate Flags ordered taken down at Kennesaw Mountain Battlefield

I'm not from the South, but I can understand preservation of heritage if that's what it is really all about...... but I suspect that's not the true cause for some. I've never personally seen a need to fly a flag from Ohio, nor the need to fly any of the previous versions of the US flag, and...

    Voice Your Opinion

I'd suspect most who are hard-core left or "anti-gun" have a certain pre-disposition to begin with, isn't that a given? Don't get me wrong, I'd have no issue taking any anti-gun folks to the range and letting them shoot my guns on my dime and teaching them if I knew I might be able to open...

    Voice Your Opinion

Actually, I agree with his analogy; for those that are strongly opinionated / to one side, I don't think I'd even waste my time. I don't have any acquaintances that are anti-gun, but if they were steadfast in their ways, I doubt a range-trip is going to go far. Along those same lines, would I...

Help me out with some ideas

It may just be best to take some hand-to-hand combat lessons, get up to speed on Muay Thai/Jiu Jitsu/Karate/etc

Help me out with some ideas

I do remember one of the flight engineers getting hassled for a bottle opener in Homburg; he had it out on the table (had a small folding blade built in), but he was just told to take it back to the hotel. I just stuck to the premise of out of sight out of mind.

What do the laws limit you to carrying there? When you say knives are iffy, how so? Type or length?

    Whose got the biggest deck?

Damn, looks nice; bet it looks awesome lit up.

    Whose got the biggest deck?

I can't use those, they'd only illuminate the weeds I have growing next to the fence posts

    Whose got the biggest deck?

Just out of curiosity, did you encounter dense clay about 4" down when you dug your holes? My FIL is from the area, said he had never seen clay like we dug up. Solid from 4" to 18"

    Whose got the biggest deck?

Copy - I updated my post shortly after - I assumed it was some sort of downward lighting like walkway or such; I've never seen those though.

    Whose got the biggest deck?

What are solar powered LED top caps used for? Lighting? Do they aim downward? (sorry, never heard of them before)

    Whose got the biggest deck?

I don't think I'd have the patience to deal with windows. Now on the fence, yeah - did my own as well ... actually overbuilt mine. I was lucky enough to borrow my FIL's John Deer with PTO post hole digger, all 4X4's were sunk & cemented evenly, 3 stringers per section, all boards screwed in...

    Whose got the biggest deck?

I'm with ya - If it is out of my realm, by all means, I'd prefer a professional to do it right the first time ...... but, I can also say that I watched them put my house together from scratch and I was a huge pain in their asses when it came to QC (Granted, it's a cookie-cutter house and they...

Some beam shots of the 12T6 using the 26650 batts, can't really compare to my previous pics due to the ground being wet, but here they are: Control: 12T6 with 3 26650s Close-up:

    Whose got the biggest deck?

I did my back door replacement myself; wasn't too hard to get plumb (standard door); but the front door has 2 small side windows built into to both sides of the casement; I haven't even tried to find a replacement yet, let alone to figure out how many people it will take to do it. I don't want...
