    @Fast306stang, did a little searching while I had a few minutes. Looks like most of the polymer 9mm pistols that aren't stupid tiny are in the 24-28 oz. range, much like a LW commander. But they are cheaper, so that's going to be a major factor. Any of them should do better than my full-size...

    Yeah. I don't know a lot about polymer guns either. My 1st choice would be a Dan Wesson Guardian or Vigil Commander, but they're off the table financially.

    Nope. There's nowhere near the demand for .410 that there is for 12 & 20 gauge. .410 is much pricier &, in my experience, harder to find. The walmart here usually only has 2 or 3 boxes & almost always bird shot.
