    Depends on a lot of things... For a real respirator, you need to be fitted. They change out the seal/pad to fit your face. And you have to be clean shaven. Cartridges depend on what you're trying to filter out. There are organic, inorganic, biological, etc...

    Shoot.... do it just like that picture! Looks awesome. I think tung oil is the one that penetrates and crystallizes in the wood grain. Gives good water resistance, if I'm thinking about the right oil.

    These days, I'd cerakote. Maybe not on a classic Browning, but i think technology has moved past hot blue for metal production.
