Yeah, I remember going into the range with my recurve and having to aim several feet higher than the target at 50yds just to get it on paper. You learn a lot from "lobbing" & trajectory when you start off low ;)

Then I think I'll pass on the 50yd challenge until I get up to speed again, I suspect I'm not quite as good as 20+ yrs ago :thumbsup:

@Patryn, not to put you on the spot, but what feedback have you had at your shop with the different brands, if I may ask?

I haven't shot a bow since I was a teenager, but back then I was in the back yard hitting bales or at the archery range every few days (this was with a recurve and a plain-Jane compound, no balancer or sights). I should probably get back into bows again, who knows, I might still be good at it ;)

I know nothing more than the few reviews I've read online; but I've always wondered what the "collectors and testers" thought of the different options offered. Personally, I'd buy another bow and some more arrows before I thought about dropping that kind of green for a blade, but I'm really...
