So I ran it for a couple of hours, the only problem is that it steps down so smoothly that you can't identify the transition points. My next test will be to run it against a couple of other lights at the same time and see when it drops below their claimed Lms. ...

Hammer fired is better than striker fired.

I think I found your GunCrafter sight on the floor of my laundry room .... just sayin

Hammer fired is better than striker fired.

Ah, yup, it was the .44 ... and I was a pretty decent shot, wasn't I?

Hammer fired is better than striker fired.

lol, it was the GunCrafter, I shit you not. You were also pissed that I kept laughing when I shot that Scandium framed .357, hit a couple of bulls-eyes and only had 1 outside of the 15 ring, you got even more pissed off, and I remarked how much more accurate I could have been if I wasn't...

Hammer fired is better than striker fired.

Nope, it was the GunCrafter ... Look, I may be an alcoholic with memory beginning to fade since I hit 40, but one thing I won't forget is you losing your shit about a sight flying off of a $4500 1911. Straight talk, yo ;)

I got kicked off the range today

Ah, yeah ... You're in the world of FOID and all that fun stuff :( I grew up in Ohio, they were the same way there with ranges; Here in GA they still vary significantly. The "typical" range in GA restricts you to double-taps (or have a rule of no more than 1 shot per second), no steel-core...

I got kicked off the range today

That's why I like shooting at the 42 North range in Stockbridge, they don't care if it's steel-core ammo or how fast you shoot. The only downside to that spot is that you'll occasionally get some inexperienced folks in there unloading mags as fast as they can, you'll look over at their target...

Hammer fired is better than striker fired.

Bullshit, the rear sight flew off and you almost pissed yourself. I remember it well ... I even taunted you in the range about how much you spent on a 1911 that kicked its own sights off the gun.... Maybe you were drunk? :noidea:
  13. AirOpsMgr

Hammer fired is better than striker fired.

Odd comparison ... but along that line, here is another: German HK > GunCrafter industries where the sights fly off a $4500 custom-made 1911 when you shoot it ;)

Meh, I'd agree if it said "HK USP .45 Tactical" ;)

    Upgraded a student’s M4

Copy that, I put a set of KNS pins on a Spike's Lower, but the set I used were a bit thicker ... had they not been given to me free, I'm not sure I'd go out and buy a set as I have yet to see anyone say "Good thing I had those Anti-rotation pins or else ...." etc, etc

    Thank ya sir :yo:

    Upgraded a student’s M4

Good looking setup; just out of curiosity, since you are more hands-on than most, what's your thought on the Anti-rotation / anti-walk pins?

Those Zebra Pics were with a high discharge 18650 installed (I waited until I got one charged up before I did that comparison for @Jake) Obviously, the camera doesn't capture the real view ... The camera doesn't show a good rendition of the beam temperature ... of all the lights shown above...

Lastly, the ZebraLight SC600W IV plus, claimed at 2300Lm Centered: Lower edge of beam: Again, hard to tell since the beam is as diffused as it is....
