I want to do it so bad, but I’ve heard a 1911 is a lot more complicated. I have zero experience in building a 1911, much less an 80%. I’m glad to hear you have positive experience with Stealth Arms. Have you used their Jigs? Or would you recommend the other Jigs with the Stealth Arms build?
That looks good @Balthaz . I’m debating on a 1911 80%. I want a bobtail 9mm commander with rails. I looked at this one.

I think it’s FAR from a .300 killer. I think it’ll just become the AK equivalent. At least I hope so. As @chance pointed out, an AS VAL would be EPIC. ESPECIALLY for hogs!
I’ll order one of those as well when I get my sling. I’d still like a monopod as well though. Just for goofing off at the farm. I know a rear bag will be better for competition.
Klein 11-in-1, small crescent wrench, allen wrenches, roll pin punch set, small universal bench block, multi tool, cleaning kit with CLP and a syringe of grease.
Gearing up for another round of range test with some new ammos. Hoping to get a box of Federal Ultramatch and some of the new CCI Copper to try. Maybe some CCI Select. I did get some Eley Club.
