@NolansMindset the buffer is 4”, the tube is 7” deep, And I probably have 3/8” travel past the bolt stop.Hard to tell because I run a gas deflector and short port door. It kind of blocks the view.

That was supposed to say buffer tube. I do have the KAK buffer. Sorry.

I’ll measure that as well when I get home. I figure it probably is pretty standard across the board. Just really the buffer length.

I don’t have a KAK blade buffer on my pistol though. So there might be a little difference there as well.

@NolansMindset I’m running an AR10 spring and the KAK 9mm Extended Heavy buffer. It’s done well for me. It won’t travel too far back and shear your bolt catch, but it travels far enough for LRBHO on my Colt pattern build.

I’m still hoping they go through with it. It might help bring prices down. And who knows, they might eventually get it right. But I’m sure it will take several generations though.

Great..... ANOTHER $5-600 I need to work up in 2018. This is nice! I think the gun industry is REALLY having Go think outside the box and be innovative now. Two years ago they only had to make an AR to stay competitive. I’m loving it.
