Nah, not a waste, its essentially a good insurance policy & maintaining the surface so it's a lot easier to detail down the road when he's rolling into the car shows and grabbin trophies! ;)

Collinite is just a super long-lasting wax, I applied it to get me through winter

If you wanna save some $$ and do the paint correction yourself, I'll lend you the Flex3401 and all the pads you need, nice thing about the flex is you can't F up the clear or paint

I bought a Flex3401 and did my own paint correction (I used Wolfgang products on mine), but have not had it ceramic coated as I don't think I want to shell out for it. In the research I've done, you do need paint correction before a ceramic coat, which can range from $300-$700 if a new car...

There is a manual release on the floor beside the pax seat as well

There's also a pull handle on the bottom left of the driver seat on the floor that releases it as well - same deal with mine

I used to be a de-ice/anti-ice instructor, can't say I miss that crap! Now I just have to make sure someone has done it and they have their fluid sample tests in along with their refractometer recal certs and my de-ice duties are done! lol

But seriously, yeah it does. I remember being in Goose Bay during a record cold snap, was minus twenties or something without the wind chill, went to throw out the old coffee in the pot and it literally just vaporized into a cloud and disappeared, that was F'in cold
