    He loves me. I'm sure he will listen and explain their reasoning. If there's some tweaking he can do I know he will do it. We have a close working relationship with them and have for quite a while.

    I'm going up to Montana to see them in October. I might see if Milton will do a custom CF barrel for me while I'm there. I'd like a 16" 6.5G and they don't make one. I could mention the gas port issue too. Fingers crossed.

    Oh I agree, but there are some good mags out there and some junk mags...same with 5.56. Just need to get some quality mags.

    It's not going to be a precision rifle, it's going to be a 200 yard deer and hog rifle and it'd be totally fine at that distance. My main focus for hunting at short range is energy, not hair splitting accuracy.

    Worth a damn? Thinking about the 18" 6.5G upper. For $320 with BCG it's tough to beat...if it shoots.
