    My list; (think I'm done)

    Where has Mayo been?

Sorry to hear of you health issues, but as you posted pretty common. I hope they don't have to do anything, but when/if they do that they knock it out with little issue.

I have a good problem! Looking for feedback/advice

As a businesss owner I don't like hearing stories about a person holding back the growth of a business that wants to grow. As a soon to be 50 year old dad......I get it.

    My list; (think I'm done)

That is a nice list of guns and it covers the bases. However, if you fall in love with that new 1911 you may be in trouble. They can be habit forming.

    This in honor of BDD...

Yep, two mags. I think I could clean mine with my eyes closed now. First time though the spring got away and put a small dent in the kitchen ceiling. Fortunately it is a rough finish so the wife never noticed.

    This in honor of BDD...

Congrats to you buddy! I can't imagine anyone getting that Ruger and not being over the moon happy. Out of all the guns I have ever owned, it was the Ruger 1911 that made me start reloading so I could shoot it more. Good for you. :)

CAUTION: Ruger LCP totally destroyed by bad "commercial" loads

I reload my own and feel completely safe. However, a customer gave me 3 boxes of 9mm reloads because he no longer owns a 9 and I just can't bring myself to shoot them. I just don't know what kind of guy he is.

POLL: When will the ammo shortage end?

Although I think it is not even close to as bad as it was, I think we are a year or more away from getting back to reasonable (and reliable) amounts of ammo on the shelves.

CAUTION: Ruger LCP totally destroyed by bad "commercial" loads

How do you like the part about the powder charges ranging from 2.3 grains to 4.2 grains with an average of 3.2 grains? Awesome quality control.

CAUTION: Ruger LCP totally destroyed by bad "commercial" loads

This is why I am still in the dark ages with my single stage press. After I have 100 - 300 rounds in the trays I visually inspect every case to see that it has the powder in there and looks to be the proper level. No squibs. No double charges. It is also why the only people that shoot my reloads...

    Ruger "American" in .243...

I know you know this, but once you find the ammo or reload recipe you like you will then need to really dial in the scope. Small changes in ammo selection can lead to pretty big differences out past 100 yards.

    Ruger "American" in .243...

Second gun I ever bought with my own money was a Ruger M77 in 6mm, which is very close to the 243. As I recall back in the mid to late 70's they made the M77 in both calibers. I think I chose the 6mm because dad said to. Great calibers, both of them. Quite a bit of punch, good distance, and...

    1911 Fever!

I don't usually like grips with finger grooves on a 1911 but those look pretty sweet.
