Pinned is better in my opinion for running suppressed if not then dimples for the set screws is a good second. Good job

You should be able to remove screws and or pins then slide it off with a lil grease if necessary

@DoglegArms do you have a pic of said barrel and gas block and barrel nut?

Hammer the pins out on the gas block and gas tube. Remove the block then put the nut on and reinstall the gas block and set pins.
