It was originally a machine gun that was made semi auto for the civilian market. I have no idea why the triggers are so bad, but they have the worst trigger I have ever felt on any gun period. Worse than sigma bad, hell, worse than a mini 14 bullpup conversion bad.

I have never "liked" Glocks and beyond their no bs ruggedness they haven't really ever done anything for me. They are ugly, they terrinly aren't fun to shoot, but they are reliable as all get out and you pretty much can't hurt them. That was until I picked up this new 41 MOS. This fucking gun...

I was thinking I would wait 6 months or so and pick one up for 250ish just to have. However now that I am hearing about the weird grip angle and long reset, I really wouldn't be interested in owning one at all.

HK for all they are known for is not known for building attractive firearms.

Oh, and the long reset on the ruger I'd a deal killer for me. If I wanted a crappy long reset I would buy an HK.

I know where one is for 450 if you want it. The thing has been sitting in this gun store for over 4 years now. It's cool if you like 20lb triggers.

VP70 is DAO not striker fired so your comment doesn't make sense since he was talking about striker fired, not polymer.

I've had a 350l and a 650l from Honda. The 350 was OK for city streets and of course traips, but would never consider taking it on a long ride and no way would I have ever taken it onto the interstate. The 650 on the other hand was more than capable to do anything I wanted. Wish I hadn't sold...

I don't know how many mags I have for any of my guns. Well, that's not true, I have 4 G21 mags for my 21, and three Glock 19 mags for...oh shit, I don't have a gun for those. For my other guns, no clue. Way less than what you guys are posting. Only gun I MAY have triple digits on the mag count...

LOL, I forgot what this thread was about. Yeah, I honestly don't know a thing about the JP spring contraption other than I've never thought I needed one.

I go around midnight. Usually have the place to myself.

The alternative is buy the specific Delrin buffer for 30 bucks to put behind the spring to shorten the stroke (which is the same size as 10 quarter by the way), buy the longer buffer which cannot be had as heavy as some of the specific carbine buffers so your gun will cycle faster and louder, or...

I wasn't kidding, I really had to look it up. 9mm RRA buffer. Says 5.6 Oz Wolff extra power carbine recoil spring Wolff extra power hammer spring (red) 2.50 in quarters in the buffer tube.

Which means it will work......
