I have a fv-Sr but would trade it in a second for a Ruger American. The Ruger is almost a direct copy of the FV-SR with a better stock and better magazines.

The few times I need to appendix carry, I always carry the 41. I find the longer barrel makes it much more comfortable.

I easily carry my 41 IWB in the same Crossbreed Supertuck I carry my 23 in.

I just spent 700 bucks completely rebuilding the front axle after 220,000 miles (New balljoints, universal joints, etc). The mechanic told me my engine, turbo, transmission were still like new. The new ball joints make it much more pleasant to drive too. :thumb:

I like the increased sight radius and the look. My concealed EDC switches back and forth between a 23 and 41, but if I am open carrying (on the bike for example), I pack the 41 almost exclusively. I personally prefer the bigger gun.

Fuck local. I can order something on Amazon and have it in my mailbox in 2 days and never fire up the diesel. My time is worth more to me than the cost of a small part like that. I wouldn't drive across Rome for a free one.

Why what? It's marketing. Same reason Ford calls their new turbo charged engines "Ecoboost" instead of Turbo charged. Someone thought the catchy phrase would help them sell more of their product.
