I just found 2 threaded Ruger Americans. 223 and 308. Both brand new, both for 300 bucks. Thinking I need both.....

What's the consensus on these things? Always kinda wanted to play with one but never picked on up. Being offered one in trade, like new blah blah blah with night sites. If I don't like it how hard will it be to do get 600 bucks out of it?

S&W makes a fine 1911. A lot of 1911 guys don't like them because of the external extractor (myself included), but if you aren't a purist it won't matter to you. I personally won't own a 1911 with an external extractor but it's on principal, not because I think internal is better.

It's only a 5 dollar stamp to transfer an AOW. It's a 200 dollar stamp to build one. Buying an AOW makes sense. Building one is stupid.
