I never called into question the density of the plastic. There's nothing wrong with plastic stocks depending on the intended purpose of the rifle. I just think they're ugly, that one in particular.

This is a fine rifle and a good value if you aren't bothered by ugly plastic.

Check out the T3 line. They have a wide variation of options depending on your specific needs. I have the Hunter in .308 and I love it. Upgradability wasn't a concern of mine. They do have plenty of options for that.
