Yogi; The G27 is a sweet shooter, slightly more recoil than the G26 but unless you shoot both back to back I don't think you can tell the difference. The nice thing is the holsters for your 26 will fit the 27, a nice plus. I have both and like both! ;D

mukwah, I have a couple of friends that have the Judge and have fun shooting it however for need they only carry it when they deer hunt to shoot rattlesnakes (Texas) they come across. ::)

Skip I know what you mean. When I get my Maine permit I still need to go through MA and NH. I will travel under the Federal rule of unloading them and storing them in the trunk under lock and key until I get to Maine. ???

Both courses are almost the same only slight differences of where you can or can't carry in each state (I think each state wants to make sure each and every permit holder knows the different nuances of thier state regs). The FL permit cost $117 for 7 years and the Utah permit cost about $80 - 85...
