Took the G30 & 1911 to the range yesterday. Exercised both with about 200 rounds, what great shooters both are. I'm adoring the .45acp round more & more. Do believe the G30 will replace the G26 by my side while at home, 14 rounds of .45acp trumps 16 rounds of 9mm. Yogi 8)

Ruger SS GP-100 4' barrel & Ruger SS SP-101 3' barrel. Carried while horseback riding. Just this week, sold the GP-100 for a Glock 30. So far no regrets, just hope they don't arrive down the road sometime! Yogi 8)

Thx all, just couldn't resist the trade. Guy at work got the G30 in late summer & only put about 50 rounds thru it, so basically traded my safe queen for a new G30. Couldn't be happier. And yes, I definitely have the .45acp bug right now. Next on my list? A Chrome 1911. We'll see, have to work...
