My buddy bought an X01. 103mph out of the box. There’s literally nowhere you can open that thing up. In 2-3 seconds it’s far enough you can no longer see it well enough to control it.

I was into RC for most of my life until a couple years ago. Mostly stadium trucks, but planes for a while & one helicopter. I still keep some stuff around for the kids. I think I have a mini revo and an HPI Bullett that's in a million pieces in the basement.

In my experience, any 40+ grain will stay subsonic with a suppressor and quiets don’t cycle worth a damn in anything. I'm with you on that. At some point I got tired of ordering replacements and just let it go. I can't imagine doing anything on an EDC basis that would damage the threads.

I've been around, just not as active. Busy with work and kids as usual. Also married a hot lady back in July, been doing a lot of projects, adjusting, finishing my basement, spending time on other hobbies, etc. I don't even recognize half the names around here anymore.
