Yeah, I kinda prefer the grippiness of the rubber...yet people like wood grips, but why?

In my very limited experience, rubber grips sometime stick to clothing, when revolver is worn IWB, and print badly.

Wood grips, SOMETIMES, help with recoil, if gun was designed for it. Bisley frame and Freedom Arms 454 Casull come to mind. Both are designed to rotate in the hand, absorbing the recoil.

That’s the one I miss Freedom Arms 454 , was brutal to shoot but 100% the best quality revolver ever made
