$450 aftermarket or $1K for OEM front windshield. GRRR

If you get the aftermarket you'll be unhappy with it for a long time and wish you had gotten OEM. If you go OEM, it'll crack again as you'll wonder why you didn't just save the money on an aftermarket that would have also gotten cracked.

I went OEM on the 2 $500 windshields on my last Mustang but the factory OEM has some noticeable differences from aftermarket. On the Toyota, the only difference visibly is the manufacturer's mark at the bottom. We are going aftermarket and I'm hoping it will be as good. We will see.

No insurance? Our glass deductible is like $50.

so dont spend a ton of time on line anymore but i found something foreign and obscure so figured i had to come here! Was wondering if anyone has seen a sabot like these.

12 gauge vouzeland. Wasn't sure what they were so I opened one up. Plastic projectile that when I cut open found a two piece sabot. Heavy lead jacket around a 100grain spike of unknown metal.

Was the lead slid down like that in the plastic?
If so, maybe meant for spike to strike hard target, and then lead to give it a second tap. Like a dead-blow hammer.
