It never really gets that dirty
It's a Dobbs can and supposed to burn all the gunk up inside the can.
I weigh it sometimes and it's always the same as when new.
Usually all the real nasty crap is in the gas tube and kns piston. I clean it all the same

Yup those cans are overbuilt but heavy no worries there.

That's the same explanation i got from the owner of Innovative Arms about their .30 can. It's sealed. I shake to ask about cleaning/ expected life. He told me that they had cans in military service that had 10k+ rounds with no worries about cleaning.

Yup can isn't the worry, I just try to clean the salts out from the 7n6 primers
Running a can I get a lot of shit blown back inside the gun
