What's in your perfect or not so perfect kitchen?

If you like the steam pots from Joe's Crab Shack, Get a steamer. We have a small Black & Decker steamer, and we do shrimp, crab, sausage, potato's... And it is just like Joe's crab shack, but a lot cheeper.

JA Henkel knives and a 6 burner gas stove top. I love cooking with gas.

And a can opener... For years, I'd buy a Kroger can opener, and 3 months later, it would crap out... I finally bought one from Walmart, and it looks like this one might last for awhile.

Speaking of 6 burner gas. I've got a nice ass Frigidaire 6 burner stove in my garage. It's keeping me from parking in there. It was around 3k new. 40 inches. Stainless. At this point I just want someone to make an offer. Any offer.

Oh, forgot, Wolf six burner cook top. Has more BTU's the the space shuttle engines. Took a special fan over the hood.

I keep forgetting stuff. Sharp makes a microwave that mounts in your cabinets and opens/closes like a slide out drawer.

It seems like we're always making do with a hodge podge of stuff. We have some older stuff, that when worn out gets replaced with better quality stuff but it's a work in progress.

Nespresso for an espresso machine, but I'd prefer a real espresso puller.
Good knives, especially good paring knives
Le Creuset, but fucking expensive.
Plenty of big cutting boards
A couple nice, big stock pots.

I have a bunch of cutting boards as well. For the grilling I went out and got one of those big white ones. The kind used for filleting fish. Holds a lot of paddies/ chopped veggies.

I like everything I've seen listed so far- but I'm going to add all the small stuff like strainers/sifters, a micro plane, good spatulas, and silicone baking sheets.

And some Nordicware baking pans.
