Tagged. @cmshoot I was wondering if there were any recommended kits at TruPrep? I was hoping there would be a basic urgent wound care setup. I know @AtlMedic was interested in helping put together something on this. If Rodney has a list for a kit, would be great to put one together for the class. Be thankful for any recommendations besides the hemostatic bandages.

I am pretty sure that Rod talked to TruPrep about IFAK’s last time he taught this class there. The kit that is in the ad above is one that he designed, so it’s what he recommends, but I know that several students used kits they purchased at TruPrep.

I’ll ask Rod about the available IFAK’s at TruPrep and let y’all know what he says.

I don’t know anything specific about the class. But I will say Rodney is a top notch instructor and definitely knows his stuff.

This is something me and the wife could use. Wonder if I can talk her into it.

Just having a med kit won’t help if you don’t know how to use it.
Amen

Guys this really is good training. I have talked about doing a class similar to this in the past for y’all and still want to in the future. I just don’t know when due to lack of free time.

That said, the guy teaching this is one of the guys who taught me and he is fantastic as giving the information in a way that is easy to understand and has done the stuff in the real world unlike a lot of folks teaching this type of class.
