pccs are a lot of fun, and suppress well. 9mm pccs are fun and theres a bunch of options, but 45 is different and i already have a bunch of ammo and a pile of g21 mags.

So far it seems like the kriss vector and and cmmg mkG guard. Angstadt is also coming out with their 45 receivers, with bolts and barrels coming later.

Of course theres the auto ordinance thompson clones. But not great for competition lol.

Theres also the roni and magtech conversions for the glock.

The B&T apc45 is like 2k and mags are like 140 each. There is also the idea of sourcing a demilled UMP and fetting the new us made receiver, but thats still way north of 2k.

I havent shot any of these. Any opinions? Any good options i missed?

Delayed blowback would be ideal, but that is basically only the cmmg and the vector.

Maybe i should start designing a roller delayed ar in 45 lol.

I have a Wilson combat conversion kit that turns a 1911 frame into a 45 carbine. I need to get its barrel threaded. My dad bought it years ago before anyone knew who Wilson combat was.

I'm pretty sure that Mectech makes them now and probably back then too, but mine says Wilson combat on the side of it.

Mechtech makes them for a variety of pistol lowers. I posted links in the AR9 thread to those that use a pistol lower to convert to carbine.

CAA Roni, Fab Defense and Hera also make kits as well.

There's one for sale on here right now, but it's 10mm. Got me thinking about buying a 10mm now...

I've been thinking of building one with a QC10 receiver set, but I really want it to take grease gun mags rather than Glock mags. Still looking for other options.

Ive got a broken 10mm 1911 laying around and thought about picking that up, but my frame is cut for a ramped barrel and i doubt that conversion uses ramped barrels.

The only 45 ACP carbine I've had is a Vector. It sucked. For a gun, it sure didn't like to actually shoot. Great idea, but unless they fixed the issues somehow, I'd stay clear.
