I vote LCP. All the pocket 380s are pretty terrible to shoot, but I guess that isn't really the point of a micro. I've had one experience each with the TCP and Kel-Tec. Both were unreliable pieces of garbage.

Beretta Pico and Remington RM380 are also good choices. Most all of the micro pistols will not have a safety as they are double action only. The 1911 style will have a safety. Although not a micro pistol, I am in love with my Sig 938p in 9mm.

I saw the Pico and it seems nice. Hate the tiny Sigs. Any thoughts on Taurus TCP?

Wasn't a fan of the TCP. I liked the LCP ok and the LCP 2 or whatever the new one is called seems even better. I will pick one up for deep concealment sometime soon for sure.

I personally have not held or shot the Taurus. Basically, the design is the same between the 3 pistols. If you are looking for EDC, then it is what fits you be best. If you want deep concealment probably a derringer for last ditch gun.

Love my LCP II. Definitely the best micro .380 IMO.

The most failures I've ever seen from a factory out of the box firearm was a TCP. The only gun I've ever had to send back to the manufacturer more than once, also a Taurus. The only gun I've ever had the manufacturer destroy and replace, also a Taurus. The worst customer service I've ever received from a major firearms manufacturer. Also Taurus.

Fuck a Taurus right in the butt.

Hey man, I'll be in Snellville for a few days. If you want to meet up at Trading Place and test out the LCP II I'd be down for a range trip. I haven't been to Trading Place since I moved several years back.

I had a first gen diamondback db380, the one with basically no sights. Wasnt the best pistol in the world, but it was tiny and went bang reliably.

Another pistol maybe to look at would be the Colt Pony/Mustang Pocketlite. Excellent little pistol although might be a little hard to find and are a little bit expensive.

It's a little big for what you're wanting but I loved my Makarov .380. I bought it as an alternative to the more expensive Walther PPK. When I finally bought my PPKs, I sold it. I have since found I actually prefer it to the PPK. I miss it. Great gun for cheap.
