Has anyone actually decoded the material differences between the offerings at PSA?

Should I just go cheap for a Machine Gun upper?

I would definitely go cheap on the upper and definitely shoot steel case ammo. But I'm cheap like that.

The cost of the upper compared to the registered MG is miniscule. The rest is cost of operation, which can add up quickly if you do a lot of shooting.

Rob Ski tested the Freedom PSA and it did pretty damn good. PTAC is junk, I don't care what anyone says. Of course, if CHF and CL barrel is important to you, then the extra $100-150 on the Premium line is worth spending. I prefer nitrided or other corrosion protection for less that does as good of a job. PTAC was 1/9 and Freedom is 1/7 twist mostly. They also have the Stainless series.

I say if you're going budget, then Freedom makes more sense.
