Why do we collectively feel compelled to follow in the footsteps of anti-rights groups that gain traction from adding un-needed adjectives to the description of rifles?

Can't we just call a rifle a rifle? If more description is necessary refer to it by make and model?

I do love semantics fights, because like this one, they're very important. It's how our rights are being marketed away from us.....and we're fucking helping.

Yeah, I've never understood it. I always call them a weapon, rifle, or handgun. Hell, if it's an AR I just say... AR... If it's an AK.. I'll say.. AK..

I just call them rifles, semi-automatic rifles, self-loading rifles, or carbines.

My SBR...well I just call her "bae." The wife is not too happy with that moniker. I would have more "bae's" but see my post above and apply the logic to the statement where I mentioned that I was married.
