This made in Germany in 1994 Sig Arms (Sig Sauer) has wear present throughout from use but is in excellent condition overall. Functionally the pistol is flawless and the bore is in great shape. Equipped with Pachmayr guns feels great in your hand. Included is one factory 15 round magazine.
The trigger is very smooth like butter. It is in excellent shape for a 3o year old gun. The Sig Sauer P226 is probably the best known for being used by specialist units including the SAS, not to mention many British Army units and the US Navy SEALs. It is a double-action semi-automatic pistol, chambered for the universal 9mm caliber. (German manufactured SIG-Sauer pistols typically come with three proof marks. The first is an ornamental crown with an N beneath it to indicate it was proofed with smokeless (nitrocellulose) powder. (The crown-N may also be stamped on the frame following the serial number.) The second proof mark is for the Kiel, Germany proof house. (``It's an oak leaf,'' according to an informed source.) Lastly, the proof house adds a two letter code to indicate the year the gun was proofed.)
