I think people don't really understand how difficult it is to shoot in combat.... I have been in more firefights than I care to recall. When the bullets start flying and the adrenaline is surging...it ain't easy to hit what you are aiming at...even for me.

The first time you hear pops and whizzes, it's gonna pucker your asshole
I feel like it would be really hard to tell where exactly the enemy is shooting from.

Rabbits Rules for Surviving Combat

1: Don't Be a Hero - This ain't Hollywood. Most "Heros" don't survive

2: Don't push a bad position - It's better to break contact and peel off than keep fighting from a disadvantageous position. Ego and Machismo get people killed

3: Shit happens, roll with it - Stay Fluid. If everything is going according to plan you are walking into an ambush.

4: You ain't Immortal - Don't be stupid cause you think you can't get smoked. You can. And you will eventually

5: It's okay to cry - Not during the firefight, but afterwards... War is hell. You need to deal with the travesties you encounter. Bottling those emotions up will reduce your combat readiness

6: Violence of Action - when it comes down to shooting, overwhelm your enemy with violence. Make them take a step back and reconsider, and don't let up till you have pounded them into submission
