Dammit, I broke my all time favoritestest hammer. I've had it for 7 years.

Did they dovetail the head onto the hammer body? Weird. I think you can put that one in a frame and hang it on the wall now.

Hammers are one thing the Japanese got right. Learned about these from a friend that built houses out in California during the 1970s and 80s.

Expensive, but the best hammer I've ever used.

Edit: The fiberglass handles or wood handles absorb a lot of shock- easier on the arm than a steel shaft hammer.

Yeah, it has a shock absorber. It's great when you're framing all day. They quit making it 5 years ago according to Rigid I bet I can guess why.

Sorry about your hammer. As for finding a replacement that would really depend on what you plan on doing with it. While a $200 hammer makes sense for some, most can get by with a $5-10 wood handles model. What do you hammer??

Any of you happen to be a money wizard and can explain what's going on. Be certain to include how loud we should be shouting and how much we should be panicking (base 10 value of course).

Everything around the farm. I've got a dozen hammers or so but this one was perfect for general barn building and the like. My Pneumatic nailer gets the nod when possible :)

Okay I'll try.

You know that video of the b52 doing all those crazy Ariel stunts? You see it and it's all awesome, and then it sweeps a little to low and everyone dies in a ball of fire. Kind of like that.

anybody use air bnb internationally? Would you recommend it? I'm looking to plan a week long vacation (don't know where yet) for 3 couples.
I've only used it here (twice). A friend rented an apartment in Paris with 0 issues.

I would only use somebody with multiple reviews.
