Have you seen the new silencerco hybrid thats due out any day? 9mm-45/70. This and a 22 can and you'll have pretty much every gun covered. msrp $999, plus various endcaps/pistons as needed depending what you'll run it on. @DoglegArms you going to have these?

dammit you gotta tag me right.

Best 45 can - Obsidian 45. Its modular and will handle all your pistol calibers

Best 7.62 can - Dead Air Sandman S, Griffin 30SD, Omega, Saker, geez even YHM phantom LT. Just get a durable can with the attachment style you like. Almost any brand is fine.

Best "Multi" can- Griffin Optimus 22lr through 9mm through 7.62

honestly the Hybrid is only good for a few things. Its essentially Silco's version of the Liberty Cosmic. Just a beefed up 45 can with quick detach abilities.

I wouldn't use a Hybrid for 7.62 or 556 application, it will be loud. It would be fine if you are shooting big bore stuff.

I can but I don't see people wanting it once they see what it's about as @PewPewPewCo said.

when are you getting those? it will do from .22 to .45?
any 45 suppressor can do 22-45.

It comes down to how easy will it be to clean after you shoot 22. The Obsidian has coated stainless baffles and a stainless blast/expansion chamber, so its better to use with 22 than say a Tirant which uses some aluminum baffles.

Well, as with anything else, you can get something that's great at one thing or something thats ok at a lot of things. Kinda like a leathman isn't the best tool for anything, but if you only have one tool and need to fix your car on the side of the road it's more useful than just the best screwdriver ever made. Of course I don't follow NFA the way you guys do, I thought it was a new concept, lol. Marketing $= sales I guess.

I will say having a .30 can and a 22 pending, my next was going to be a 45. Now that I'm aware of the concept I don't see a reason not to go that route.

Depends what ammo you shoot, how clean you get it each time.

I also don't like being limited in my options for cleaning which the aluminum baffles do. Steel had the most options
If I could fins an obsidian I would snag it up but I cant find one, I have found the older Tirants in stock at a LGS.
