I keep mine under 3900fps and use heavier, longer projectiles.
60 gr Nosler Partioned or Sierra Game King
I also leave .003-.005 extra AOL while loading so when I bolt a round it finishes seating.
Hot small bores suffer from throat erosion the most and a snug seat helps, plus the extra accuracy from identic headspacing on every round

Well, i think he meant OAL if that helps.

Basically, reload long so chambering the round uses the lands in the barrel to seat the bullet to the final depth.

I've got a .22-250, so I've learned a bit about throat errosion (hot gas basically eating away your barrel from the throat/end of chamber forward).

I have a 30 year old win 70 22-250 that probably has less than 100 rounds thru it. I’m thinking the barrel is fine.

I was looking at the CZ clones like the Tanfoglio stuff...made in Italy, good guns...but I decided for the money, I was going to get the original!
The Jericho 941 is a good price point for a CZ style gun. I think a Tanfo would be a good buy, lots of nice features out of the box. Good things about all the clones

What the hell is 220 swift
6mm Lee Navy neck down to .22 turn your ass inside out wickedness
This man knows, its the most bad ass of the 22 cal rifles with light bullets , 4200 to 4400 fps is possible , mines an
Varmint barrel Remington that will hit a dime at a 100 yards, i never shot a deer with it , but hogs, yotes ,muskrats ,beavers, crows its pretty hard on, i have no doubt a deer would drop in its tracks with the right placement of shot
