Do you use a hard shell or a soft gun?

I want to know everyone's opinion, tendency, which scene is applicable? I am struggling with these issues.

I like a soft case. It’s lighter, more flexible, and I can fit more stuff in there. It’s really about what you prioritize—protection vs. convenience.

I’ve been wrestling with the same decision myself. I’ve tried both hard shell and soft gun holsters, and it really depends on what you’re comfortable with. For me, I lean towards a soft shell when I’m out and about, especially for casual carry like in Coon Rapids MN conceal carry situations. It’s a bit more flexible and comfortable, especially on longer days.

I remember one time when I was at the grocery store, I was wearing a soft shell and barely noticed it, which was a huge win. But for times when I need more structure—like if I’m going for a run or need a bit more stability—I’ll switch to hard shell.
