Bonus is..I can burn 300 round of carry ammo to "test" with...and still have enough left to fill every mag I could carry on my body... discreetly. So, I suggest splitting 1000 rounds of carry ammo with a friend or two. Way better all around.
I do the same thing except my “friend” is my wife lol.

Where do you purchase bulk ammo from?

Another thing. How often do you shoot your carry ammo or how long do you carry the ammo before taking it out of service?
After a year or two I shoot it and get new. OR if its been chambered a few times I also shoot it. Usually this is only a couple random rounds.

Test fire at range and test drawing from holster. Carry around the house to get adjusted to new shape.

I usually don't buy any guns that are suspect to begin with, but I put a solid 150 rounds of fmj's and 50 rounds of my carry ammo through it before carry. I always put a box or two through it each time I go to the range as well, usually 3-4 times a month.
The TCP is the only Taurus I've ever liked. I have an LCP as well and I'll take the TCP 10/10 times.

Have you tried the LCP II? I shot it a little bit at the IV8888 Range Day and was hitting steel silhouette targets at 50 yds with ease. I didn't expect it to do that well but after grouping it all center mass on a silhouette at 25 yards I figured I would try it further out.

I have ran it at the range, no issues. I test draw all the time, usually a lot of free time at the hotel. I carry on my body as much as I possibly can, work is the only constraint and it is still within getting distance.
