Got a can of this at my LGS yesterday. Anyone use it on loads for 40S&W. 0r .45ACP? Gonna have Nate (my son) load a few to try it out. Had pretty good results with #5 Accurate ..so hoping it'll work okay on the bigger cals. I'll post up when I use em. Been watching for Hodgkin cans...but nope...nada

I use AA#7 for carbine loads in pistol calibers, mostly 40 and 9mm. With the 40 you can get a significant increase in velocity in a carbine over a pistol.

Never tried the #7. How does it meter? I am using Longshot for .40 currently.

Meters OK, both in the Dillon and in the RCBS Uniflow measure. AA7 works best for me in small capacity cases like the 9 and 40 and AA9 works better for 44 mag.
