PM9 in Mitch Rosen 5JR again this past weekend to go to the range.

Side-mounted lasers seem less intrusive than the trigger guard mounted ones such as the Lasermax and the CT. But I still have the CT on mine because I don't have to worry about the activation switch in the critical moment...

It's about the same size as the LCP. So it is also a true pocket pistol. It has a nice set of night sights that you can actually use (if needed). Its stock trigger feels just like a custom tuned DAO revolver of the '70s and '80s...

Took my PM9 to the range yesterday in Mitch Rosen's 5JR on the strong side and a spare magazine in 5M on the other side. They work very well with a winter jacket. Shot 210 rounds (including 60 rounds of my carry ammo) in various positions with no malfunction whatsoever. It was fun. :)

I took a few photos of my Kahr P380 this morning, but I need to reduce their size so that I can paste them in my post (without having to upload them on a another posting site and link them)...

I love it, too, but its somewhat finicky... After hundreds of rounds to really break it in, my P380 is finally 100% reliable - well, almost. I just wish it was as reliable as my PM9....

I've put about 2,800 rounds through mine and I'm loving it! Needed a bit of work to make it 100% reliable, but it is such a comfortable gun to carry and shoot. I'm waiting for a new IWB holster from Brigade Gunleather.

Yeah, you should definitely look into CM9 or PM9 for your micro 9mm CCW. After reading all the positive reviews, I also installed Wolff's 5LB striker spring and smoothed the rough edges of the trigger bar (where it rides on the "U" shape hook of the trigger bar spring) with #1000 wet/dry...

On other forums, I've read quite a few negative reviews of Kahr polymer frame pistols saying that they are very unreliable with all the design flaws, etc. Given the consistency of modern manufacturing process, it is hard for me to believe that my stock PM9 that is very reliable is so much...

Yeah, I think it is. I love it. It's light and small, very reliable and +P rated. You can't ask for more. Its trigger reminds me of that of a custom DA revolver from the 70's or 80's.

I have been range testing it for several months with very positive results. It will be my cool weather CCW.

I carried my Kahr P380 in a pocket holster today. I normally carry the LCP in that manner and there is nothing wrong with it. But I just wanted to get used to anther one of my favorite pocket .380. ;)

I agree 100%. I am sure there are occasions and [/size]places where open carry would be appropriate. However, I wonder if going in to your local fast food restaurants openly carrying handguns and AR rifles "just because it's legal" would present a very positive public image of law abiding gun...
