Damn. Let us know why their CS is like after you talk to them

    Preferred XM193 brands?

I've only shot a few hundred rounds but the wolf gold has been reliable and accurate enough for my plinking.

ATF To Issue Two Monumental Determinations

It would save them a lot of headache to vastly simplify their rules. They can't just get rid of the NFA but they can produce an official document that greatly clarifies things. It sounds like this may step in that direction. It would be better than constantly having to figure out if something...

Carry type and transport preference while traveling by air

Well it's Texas so I think the 1911 would be the most fitting.

Goodbye M4's, The Army Wants .308's

I'm not a vet or anything. But this makes sense to me. It seems one of the biggest reasons I've heard to cause the push to a higher power round is that the distance of engagements in Afghanistan. It seems that for CQB or urban fighting a .308 would be overkill and have the negatives of weight...

Goodbye M4's, The Army Wants .308's

This seems like a poor idea to me.

    Best Ruger 10/22 receiver

It threw me off too. I felt like an idiot when you told me it was open bolt. I will admit that even after you told me I was not 100% sure I was doing it right since I had never shot or even handled an open bolt gun. I will say though that at least I didn't try and force the bolt forward. I am...

    Best Ruger 10/22 receiver

If my green mountain barrel gets too picky with ammo then I am going to go back to the factory barrel. I like accuracy but I don't need it enough to loose the ability to shoot cheap ammo. As long as it will handle the auto match reliably I'll be happy.

    Drill and tap

I don't believe it's as simple as drilling and tapping. Unless the slide has already been cut you will need to have it milled to accept the optic. Glocks typically run around $200. Since the Xd isn't as common I don't know if they would charge more. If your slide isn't already killed it may be...

    $1200 .50 BMG

So what your saying is we should see a integrally suppressed .50 single shot from the fine folks at KGmade soon?

    $1200 .50 BMG

Honestly I would like to see someone make an inexpensive one that's either a bolt action or break action. That threaded set up just seems like more work than I want to mess with. It also seems a little crude for a gun that costs that much, its the same set up I've seen a lot of home made guns use.

    $1200 .50 BMG

About 50% of why I want a .50 is for the giant bolt and the giant empty case being ejected from the gun. I can never afford a barrett though.

Not Your Average Glock 19 Review

I carry my 43 during the summer and a good part of the winter. It's just so easy and convenient to carry. I also like my 43 because it's accurate enough for me that I feel more confident with it than a pocket gun like a LCP while still small enough that I can conceal it under anything. When I...

    Stainless M&P Shield Project

Damn that looks good. I have had a couple of glocks with the Slides done in nickel boron I think it's called (one was an Exo G26 and the other a NibX G19). Seeing your shield makes me miss them.

    Marine Corps considering using suppressors

I think it's a great idea. Especially if they can buy the license to mass produce them to keep costs down.
