    New XDs for Me!

I took mine out again yesterday. This pistol just keeps on impressing me. Shot another 100 rounds of FMJ and then ran a box of JHPs through it for the first time. Never a hiccup. This little rascal will hit beer cans, at a pretty fast rate of fire, at 30 yards almost every time. On the way home...

    New XDs for Me!

I'm sure liking mine. Fairly lite, short trigger pull with a short reset, and more accurate than I figured it would be even out to 30-40 yards. Plus, it's hard to beat a little pistol with a big ole hole on the business end.

    Fast and Loud

The original Baldwin-Motion Performance Group (1967-1974) represented a partnership between Baldwin Auto Company, a franchised Chevrolet dealership dating back to the early-1920s and Motion Performance, a high-profile speed shop with a reputation for building fast Chevys. Both were located in...

The most effective hardware for home defense

Yep, the last one with a waterbed, and it sleeps the same as it did new, 28 years ago. You're right cylinder bore is no choke at all.

The most effective hardware for home defense

I keep a Beretta 96 tucked between my waterbed mattress and the wood frame. If I roll off of the bed on the side away from the door (waterbed makes pretty good cover) there is an 870 with 20" cylinder bore, mounted light and extra shell holder handy with one already chambered (no kids in the house).

    Fast and Loud

That Vette was sweet. They never even mentioned the Baldwin sticker on the fender.

    Shield 40 or XDs

I finally got to fire my new XDs Friday. I love the trigger. No hiccups at all, but I only had one 50 round box to shoot. Recoil was fairly light, maybe because I was using Remington 230gr MC. The last three mags, I was at 30 yards firing into some light gage paint thinner cans and four rounds...

This isn't good! Kel Tec PF 9

That's too bad. Hope you get it resolved. Mine hasn't ever had a hiccup, but I still picked up an XDs so the PF-9 will be going in the safe once I feel confident with The XDs.

This isn't good! Kel Tec PF 9

Just curious if you polished the feed ramp on the new barrel. I polished mine before ever firing it and it's never had a hiccup. Also some of them don't like 148gr due to overall length.

    Shield 40 or XDs

I went ahead and bought a XDs from Gunbroker, since all the local gun shops said it would be at least three months, and not paying tax covered the shipping and FFL. Should be here Monday.

    Ammunition storage questions

Same here, and I put the newest on the bottom or to the back depending on how they're arraigned. I've shot ammo that came from my Grandpa that was over 40 years old and he had just left them in a dresser drawer.

    Shield 40 or XDs

Have any of ya'll shot the M&P Shield .40 and the XDs? I'd especially like to know which one has the better feeling trigger. I can't make up my mind on these two and neither one is available enough to fondle both at the same time. I know the XDs holds one less in the flat base mag, but one extra...
